BeLikeTommy Project Mission

BeLikeTommy Project was created to honor the kindness and joy of Tommy Nash following his passing from Sudden Cardiac Arrest in December of 2021. Our mission is to keep his loving spirit alive by caring for the hearts of others, both physically and emotionally. We make a difference by:

Spreading a message of the impact small acts of kindness and love can have on others in need
Promoting awareness of Sudden Cardiac Arrest and donate AED's to organizations in need to help prevent death associated with SCA
Supporting other organizations focused on inclusion and bringing kindness and joy to others in need
Host a number of events a year that bring fun and joy to all that attend
Partnering with other organizations that embody what it means to #BeLikeTommy

Advance Research and Diagnostic Approaches for Adolescent Sudden Cardiac Death (SCD)

Tommy brought joy to everyone he touched, but had a special place in his heart for those often left behind. He went out of his way to make everyone feel included and loved. BeLikeTommy Project will seek ways to continue shining his light on others by supporting organizations that promote inclusion, advance the causes of those left behind, and bring joy to the world.

Advance Research and Diagnostic Approaches for Adolescent Sudden Cardiac Death (SCD)

Tommy's life ended without warning despite regular visits to a pediatric cardiologist for an unrelated condition. Prevention requires not only additional research to better understand the genetic causes of SCD, but also awareness and access to life saving AED devices.
